Singer Sunmi has hit back through Instagram at a netizen's critical comments about her August comeback with a song she produced.
The netizen's comment on a report about the comeback said: "Not only Sunmi but most of the idols participating in production in fact don't contribute that much, leaving composers and co-producers to do most of the work."
Sunmi captured the article with the comment and posted a long message explaining the difficult process of production and how important the conviction of the artist is for expressing and executing the ideas into action.
"I do not just work to show off my name on the album credit," Sunmi wrote. "I am completing what I want to express through careful thoughts and editions on each procedure of making an album ― lyrics, melody and composition.
"I hope such a stereotype on idols, including me, will not be generalized."
