Is K-pop idol-turned-singer/songwriter Kangta a womanizer?
K팝 아이돌 출신 가수 겸 작곡가 '강타'는 바람둥이?
This embarrassing question surfaced after KBS TV announcer-turned-celebrity Oh Jung-yeon revealed her bygone romantic relationship with him on Friday, hinting that Kangta had cheated on her.
이 난처한 질문은 전 KBS 아나운서 출신 방송인 오정연이 지난 금요일 자신의 과거 연애사를 밝히며 강타가 바람을 피웠음을 암시하자 수중 위로 떠올랐다.
"It must be shocking to see my boyfriend ― whom I have been in serious relationship for about six months ― in bed with another woman," she wrote on her Instagram. "This is what I experienced two years ago. I was deeply hurt."
오정연은 인스타그램에 "반 년가량 진지한 만남을 이어가며 하루가 멀다하고 만나온 연인이 다른 여자와 한 침대에서 발견되면 충격일 수밖에 없다. 이 일은 2년 전 내가 직접 겪은 일이고 나는 그 이후 큰 상처를 받아 오래도록 아주 힘들었다"라고 글을 올렸다.
She posted the message with a screenshot of a portal site's real-time search results, including Kangta and racing model Woo Joo-ahn. Oh did not identify the "other woman," but her fans and observers believe she meant Woo.
그녀는 강타와 레이싱모델 우주안이 함께 뜬 한 포털사이트 실시간 검색 순위 스크린샷과 함께 글을 올렸다. 오정연은 '다른 여자'가 누구인지 밝히지 않았지만, 대중은 '다른 여자'가 우주안을 의미한다고 여기고 있다.
"I had tough times overcoming it, but the nightmare hit me again when I see the names of these two people on the portal site," Oh wrote.
오정연은 "어렵게 극복해 행복하게 잘 살고 있는데 어제오늘 실검에 떠 있는 두 당사자의 이름을 보니 다시 그 악몽이 선명하게 떠오른다"고 덧붙였다.
This controversial message came a day after Woo shared a short, personal video of herself and Kangta kissing at a location that looks like a public sauna on her Instagram. In another posting, Woo confessed she had dated Kangta, but claimed that posting the video clip had been an "accident."
이 논란의 글은 우주안이 자신의 인스타그램에 찜질방으로 보이는 장소에서 강타와 키스하는 짧은 영상을 올린지 하루 만에 나왔다. 또 다른 인스타그램 게시물에서 우주안은 자신이 강타와 사귀었다고 고백했지만, 동영상을 올린 것은 '사고'였다고 주장했다.
Kangta admitted he had dated Woo, but remained silent about Oh.
강타는 우주안과 사귀었다는 것을 인정하면서도 오정연에 대해서는 침묵을 지켰다.
On Saturday, Woo asked Oh on Instagram not to frame her as a "secret mistress." They had an argument on the platform, and Woo later said she had resolved a misunderstanding with Oh.
토요일, 우주안은 오정연의 인스타그램에 자신을 '내연녀'로 모함하지 말아달라고 요청했다. 두 사람은 인스타그램 상에서 언쟁을 벌였고, 이후 우주안은 오정연과 오해를 풀었다고 말했다.
On Sunday, Woo said she would take legal action against rumormongers and online haters.
일요일, 우주안은 허위사실을 퍼뜨리고 악성 댓글을 다는 네티즌에 대해 법적 조치를 취하겠다고 밝혔다.
Meanwhile, online news outlet OSEN, citing Oh's friend, reported that Kangta and Oh began dating in November 2016.
한편 온라인매체 OSEN은 오정연 지인의 말을 인용해 강타와 오정연이 2016년 11월부터 교제를 시작했다고 보도했다.
"Oh said she had seen Woo at Kangta's home in April 2017," the news organization quoted Oh's friend as saying.
오정연의 지인은 "2017년 4월, 오정연이 강타의 집에서 우주안을 봤다고 했다"고 전했다.
Kangta, whose real name is Ahn Chil-hyun, debuted as a member of first-generation K-pop boy band H.O.T in 1996. Since the group's disbandment in 2001, he has been forging career as a soloist and actor.
강타(본명 안칠현)는 1996년 1세대 K팝 그룹 H.O.T의 멤버로 데뷔했다. 2001년 그룹 해체 이후, 그는 솔로 가수와 배우로 커리어를 이어갔다.
He was set to release the solo track "Love Song" on Aug. 4.
그는 4일 솔로곡 '러브 송'을 발매할 예정이었다.
