South Korea ended its preparations for the start of 2022 World Cup qualification on Thursday with a 2-2 draw against Georgia in Istanbul. The stadium in the Turkish capital may have been largely empty but there was plenty for coach Paulo Bento to think about.
2022 월드컵 예선 준비에 나선 대한민국 축구대표팀은 목요일 터키 이스탄불에서 열린 조지아와의 평가전에서 2-2 무승부를 거뒀다. 관중석은 대부분 비어있었지만 파울루 벤투 감독은 생각해야 할 것이 많은 경기였다.
The result is not the most important part of this game. It is all about getting ready for Tuesday's first game on the road to Qatar against Turkmenistan in Ashgabat. Bento played around with a few things and will be happier with some aspects more than others.
경기 결과는 이번 평가전에서 중요한 부분이 아니다. 2022 카타르 월드컵 진출을 위해 아슈하바트(투르크메니스탄 수도)에서 열리는 투르크메니스과의 월드컵 예선 첫 경기를 준비하는 것이 제일 중요했다. 벤투 감독은 몇 가지 새로운 전술을 선보였고 몇 가지 면에서 만족감을 느꼈을 것이다.
Especially pleasing is that Hwang Ui-jo looks to be in fine form. The striker came off the bench to score both goals to continue his hot streak for the national team.
특히 기쁜 점은 황의조의 폼이 상당히 좋아보인다는 점이다. 황의조는 교체투입되어 두 골을 성공시키며 대표팀 경기 연속골 행진을 이어나갔다.
Hwang came on at the break to replace the ineffectual Lee Jeong-hyeob and within three minutes the Bordeaux striker leveled the scoreline. Son Heung-min crossed from the right side and there was Hwang at the near post to divert the ball high into the net. It was an instinctive finish.
황의조는 위협적이지 않던 이정협을 대신해서 후반전 시작과 동시에 투입됐다. 프랑스 리그앙 소속 보르도에서 활약하고 있는 스트라이커 황의조는 경기장을 밟은지 3분 만에 동점골을 넣었다. 손흥민이 오른쪽 사이드에서 크로스를 올렸고 골대 근처에 있던 황의조가 공의 방향을 골문 위쪽으로 바꾸며 득점에 성공했다. 그의 본능적인 감각이 돋보인 득점이었다.
