Colorful fireworks will paint the Seoul skies Oct. 5 for the city's most "explosive" festival of the year.

서울의 가장 '폭발적'인 축제를 위한 화려한 불꽃들이 10월 5일 서울 하늘을 수놓을 예정이다.

Hundreds of thousands of joyous people are expected to gather at Yeouido Park next to the Han River for the annual Seoul International Fireworks Festival, now in its 17th year.

올해로 17회째를 맞는 '서울 세계불꽃축제'를 위해 여의도 한강공원에 수십만 명의 사람들이 모일 것으로 전망된다.

According to event organizer Hanwha, Ichon Han River Park, which is on the northern side of the river, Seonyudo Park and N Seoul Tower's observatory are among the best spots for watching the show.

불꽃축제 주최사인 한화그룹은 이촌 한강공원, 선유도공원, N서울타워 전망대가 불꽃 쇼 관람을 위한 최적의 장소로 꼽았다.

During the day, the festival also offers various subsidiary events under the theme of "Life is COLORFUL."

낮에는 'Life is COLORFUL'이라는 주제로 다채로운 부대행사가 열린다.
