K-pop band Big Bang's Daesung has been cleared of suspicions that he aided and abetted an illegal adult entertainment business inside a building he owned in the Gangnam district, southern Seoul.
Police Thursday made a non-indictment recommendation, saying they had found no incriminating evidence.

Earlier in December, Daesung testified during a police investigation that he was unaware of any illegal activities in his building. Daesung was discharged from mandatory military service in November last year.
Regarding suspicion that illegal drug use and sales took place there, police said they had sent hair samples to the National Forensic Service for analysis, but had found no evidence to support the accusations.
They have discovered evidence of prostitution being operated at a nearby hotel instead of the K-pop singer's building.
Police will ask the prosecution to indict 56 people on charges of illegally operating an adult establishment and arranging prostitution.
