Korean actress Son Ji-hyun has signed an exclusive contract with Wells Entertainment agency.

The agency said Monday that Son's acting skills had improved daily.

Son said she was grateful and that she would continue to work hard to improve.

Wells Entertainment manages artists including Jo Hyun-jae, who starred in the 2003 MBC drama "Love Letter," and Chu Sang-mi, who starred in the 2009 SBS drama "City Hall."

Son debuted as a member of the K-pop girl group 4Minute in 2009 with its debut single "Hot Issue." She made her acting debut in the 2010 SBS drama "It's Okay, Daddy's Girl."

The group disbanded in 2016.
