'Respect our culture': Koreans talk about eating dog meat on Boknal in Korea [VIDEO]

During the hottest days of summer in Korea which we call Boknal, Koreans usually have special food to supplement their energy. Among many, Samgyetang, a special Korean traditional dish of boiled chicken, is one the most popular menu for Koreans to go out for on Boknal.

However, there is another kind of special dish that has been a long tradition but controversial nowadays. Boshintang, a stew containing boiled dog meat, has long been a popular dish in Korea but many Koreans are now fighting against it.

However we realized that many foreigners still think it's common to eat dog meat here in Korea. So we went out to the streets to ask young Koreans what they really feel about eating dogs.
