Actor Zo In-sung's reality show debut with tvN's new program, "Unexpected Business," got off to a good start.
배우 조인성이 tvN 새 예능 '어쩌다 사장'으로 리얼리티쇼에 데뷔하며 순조로운 출발을 보였다.
The show's premiere on Thursday scored a 4.1 percent viewership rating nationwide and 4.4 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area.
목요일 1회 시청률은 전국 4.1%, 수도권 4.4%를 기록했다.
Set in a small, rural town, the show is about two friends ― actors Zo and Cha Tae-hyun ― running a supermarket for 10 days. Producer Yoo Ho-jin, who worked with Cha several times, including for the popular variety show, "2 Days & 1 Night," partnered with the actor once again.
작은 시골 마을을 배경으로 하는 이 프로그램은 두 친구인 배우 조인성과 차태현이 10일 동안 슈퍼마켓을 운영하는 이야기다. 인기 예능프로그램 '1박 2일'을 비롯해 차태현과 여러 차례 호흡을 맞췄던 유호진 PD가 다시 한 번 함께 한다.
The first episode showed the two stars preparing to take over the business and familiarizing themselves with the small town neighborhood. When opening day came around, it didn't take long for the novice shop owners to run into trouble, as they placed orders and rang up products.
1회는 두 스타가 가게 인수를 준비하며 작은 마을 동네에 익숙해지는 모습을 보여주었다. 개점일이 다가오자 두 초보 점주는 주문하고 상품 가격을 입력하며 허둥지둥 하기까지 오랜 시간이 걸리지 않았다.
The program was highly anticipated after being promoted as the first reality show for Zo, who is an actor with 23 years of showbiz experience under his belt. It was his first appearance in front of a camera since his 2018 action movie, "The Great Battle."
이 프로그램은 23년차 경력 배우 조인성의 첫 리얼리티 예능 출연으로 큰 기대를 모았다. 그는 2018년 액션 영화 '안시성' 이후 처음으로 카메라 앞에 모습을 드러냈다.
Zo said he decided to take on the new challenge thanks to Cha, who is an old friend.
조인성은 오랜 친구인 차태현 덕분에 새로운 도전을 하기로 결심했다고 말했다.
Zo debuted as a model in 1998 and made his way into acting with a lead role in the hit teen series, "Hakgyo 3," in 2000. He has starred in various TV series and films, including the melodrama, "That Winter, the Wind Blows," (2013) and the romance series, "It's Okay, That's Love" (2014).
조인성은 1998년에 모델로 데뷔했고 2000년에 히트한 10대 드라마 ‘학교3'에서 주연을 맡으며 연예계에 진출했다. 그는 멜로영화 '그 겨울, 바람이 분다'(2013년 작)와 로맨스영화 '괜찮아, 사랑이야'(2014년 작) 등 다양한 TV 드라마와 영화에 출연했다.
