German carmaker Volkswagen's seven-seat sport utility vehicle (SUV) Tiguan Allspace is gaining popularity as an increasing number of people enjoy outdoor family lifestyles, the company said Monday.

The biggest feature of Tiguan Allspace is its space utilization comparable to that of a mid-sized SUV that has a large loading space of up to 1,775 liters. Its total length is 4.73 meters and its wheelbase is 2.79 meters, 220 millimeters and 110 millimeters longer than the regular model, respectively.

Thanks to this, the SUV not only has spacious room in the second-row seat but also supports backrest angle adjustment functions that allow all the seats or part of them to fold.

Also, two seats are added in the third row, allowing up to seven people to board at the same time. Tiguan Allspace can secure a trunk capacity of 1,775 liters when all seats until the second row are folded.

Both the second and third seats support full-flat folding ― making it suitable for carrying large loads or enjoying leisure activities such as car camping.

"The interior space of Tiguan Allspace can be adjusted in accordance with the purpose of its use. Even when a large number of people need to ride together or a spacious trunk is needed to load a lot of luggage, the SUV always provides the best comfort for passengers," a Volkswagen Korea official said.

Tiguan Allspace also offers a safe and comfortable driving experience as a family car. In particular, its 2.0 TSI gasoline model is sold as Prestige.

The SUV vehicle's safety specifications are best-in-class.

Its LED matrix headlamps, front and rear dynamic turn signals and the "IQ Light's" dynamic light assist, usually only seen in luxury cars, are installed as basic specifications.
