Lee Areum, a former member of K-pop girl group T-ara, is receiving treatment at a hospital following a possible suicide attempt, Wednesday.

Her boyfriend has shared that Lee is currently unconscious, saying, "I pray that she will be okay," Korean media outlet OSEN reported.

Lee left a note Wednesday morning before attempting to take her own life, according to her family.

In December, the 29-year-old disclosed she was going through a divorce, four years after marrying a businessman in 2019 and announced plans to remarry upon its finalization, also introducing her new boyfriend.

The proceedings drew attention, particularly when Lee alleged her husband molested their two sons.

She said her husband abused their children after he took them, spitting on them and harassing them with his bodily waste on their faces.

On her Instagram, Monday, Lee again posted two photos of her face and body that she said were taken after she was assaulted by her husband in 2021, writing, "Then the dress that I was wearing was torn, and I had bruises all over [my] body and my nose bone was crooked."

Lee said that she has also been suffering from being a target of online bullying, fraud and hacking.

Joining T-ara in 2012, Lee debuted with T-ara's 6th mini album, "DAY BY DAY." After departing the group, she turned solo in 2013 and appeared in KBS2's survival reality show "The Unit" in 2017 and TV Chosun's audition program "Tomorrow's National Singer" in 2021.
