A new apartment complex to be built by Hyundai E&C in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, is drawing increasing attention for offering advantageous access to public transit, incorporating the latest technological features to enhance the quality of life and providing financial perks for those interested in purchasing a unit, according to the country's major builder, Thursday.

Hillstate Unjeong consists of 3,413 units spread across 13 apartment buildings, each soaring over 49 floors high. Situated in Unjeong New Town in southern Paju, the complex is designated with the builder's premium apartment brand.

One of the apartment complex's major advantages is its convenient access to a local subway station. Unjeong Station on the Gyeongui Jungang Line offers a direct transfer to Seoul Metro Line No. 6. Moreover, the Seohae Line, approved by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport for extension further north to Paju, will provide additional access to commuters in the complex.

Another traffic-related advantage for the residents of the complex is the scheduled launch of the GTX-A Line service at Unjeong Station, enhancing transportation options. Additionally, the proximity to highways further contributes to the convenience for residents.

Another feature that differentiates the complex is Starfield Village, a large-scale shopping complex operated by Shinsegae Property. After signing a merchandise planning and operation agreement with Shinsegae to launch Starfield Village within the complex, Hillstate Unjeong is set to offer a plethora of services for its residents. These services encompass academic learning, entertainment, medical care, beauty, and health care. Notably, this marks the first instance of a Starfield Village being introduced within an apartment complex in the country.

Featuring a movie theater, fitness facilities, and Jongro M School, a prominent cram school operator in the country, Hillstate Unjeong encourages its prospective residents to fulfill all their needs within their community.

"The mammoth-level apartment complex has already become a new landmark of Unjeong New Town," a company official said. "There's currently a rush of interest from prospective buyers seeking to acquire units in the complex. I anticipate that the sale in lots will conclude promptly."

Hyundai E&C offers a unique approach for those entering a unit purchase agreement for the complex, allowing them to personally select the specific apartment and unit they desire. This differs from the typical practice in the country, where buyers' units are allocated through a random draw during sales in lots. Additionally, the down payment is set at five percent of a unit's value, a lower option compared to the conventional 10 percent typically required.
