Becoming a fresh manager, who sells sweet probiotic drinks produced by the company, has a low entry barrier as the position does not require educational or career backgrounds, and no initial costs are incurred, the city government said Friday.

Under the partnership, 100 women from disadvantaged backgrounds will be hired annually and receive specialized training and financial assistance, with grants of up to 2.5 million won ($1,850) for five months.

The city added they will have the flexibility to manage their work hours, enabling them to balance employment with other responsibilities such as child care or education.

"Starting with this agreement, we will promote more cooperation with companies and the private sector to expand tailored job support for vulnerable women," a city official said.

The program is currently recruiting applicants, with interested individuals encouraged to apply.

Information about the program can be found on the city government's website and the Seoul Foreign Portal.
