Yeonjun, a member of the K-pop boy band TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT), will release a solo mixtape on Sept. 19, marking his first official project as HYBE's solo artist.

At 12:01 a.m. Sunday, a video titled "YEONJUN's Mixtape Intro Film" was unveiled on HYBE Labels' official YouTube channel, announcing the highly anticipated project.

The video features Yeonjun against the backdrop of bustling city streets, where the singer delivers a somber performance that hints at a mixtape exploring the complexities of youth. With a rebellious edge, the video marks a shift from Yeonjun's usual charismatic persona as the boy band's leader, raising fan expectations for the upcoming release.

While the mixtape is slated for release on Sept. 19, further details, including the title, have yet to be revealed.

Known for his standout performances within TXT, Yeonjun has demonstrated his versatility across various dance genres. The idol also showcased his vocal abilities with his recent participation in "Boyfriend," a track released on Sept. 1 as the original soundtrack of the ongoing drama, "Cinderella at 2AM."

Meanwhile, TXT continues to build its international presence, having performed to a full house at Singapore's Indoor Stadium on Saturday, as part of its world tour, "TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR 'ACT: PROMISE.'"
