K-pop group Stray Kids added one more stadium show in Mexico City after its initial concert date for the second phase of its "dominATE" world tour sold out quickly.
The group's agency JYP Entertainment confirmed that it has extended the city's concert dates to two days, scheduled to be held on April 12 and 13, 2025, at Estadio GNP Seguros in the Mexican capital.
"The tickets (for the April 12 show) have completely sold out after opening for sale on Nov. 21. In response, we added an additional show on April 13, 2025, to accommodate the overwhelming demand and enthusiastic support from local fans," the agency said.
The eight-member group is currently embarking on its biggest world tour, which began with concerts in Seoul in August. It announced the second phase of "dominATE," covering 20 stops across Latin America, North America and Europe on its social media on Tuesday. This marks the group's first solo concerts in Latin America and Europe since its debut.
With the new tour, the group will perform 42 shows across 32 cities at major venues like Singapore National Stadium, Allianz Stadium in Sydney, Kaohsiung National Stadium, SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, Rogers Stadium in Toronto, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London and Stade de France in Paris.
The group has been garnering global success through self-produced, genre-defying music that showcases its unique sound. It topped the Billboard 200 for five consecutive albums, including its latest release "ATE."
Meanwhile, Stray Kids will continue its tour with stops in Macau on Nov. 29 and 30, Osaka on Dec. 5 and Dec. 7 to 8 and Bangkok on Dec. 14, followed by the additional 20 dates across Latin America, North America and Europe from March to July.
It is also set to release a new style of album "SKZHOP HIPTAPE 'HOP'" on Dec. 13 at 2 p.m., which includes the title track "Walkin On Water."
