Tving's premium subscribers will be able to access "Pachinko," a popular Apple TV+ original series, starting next month, with the launch of its brand channel for Apple's streaming service.
Celebrating the brand channel launch, Tving will offer "Pachinko" Season 1 to its paid subscribers starting Monday.
The Korean streaming service operator said the partnership with Apple TV+ is the grand beginning of enhancing its global competitive edge.
Tving will also enable its users to enjoy more critically acclaimed Apple TV+ content via its own app.
These include popular Apple TV+ series such as the Emmy Award-winning "Ted Lasso" starring Jason Sudeikis, "The Morning Show" with Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, the espionage drama "Slow Horses" starring Gary Oldman and "Severance," directed and produced by Ben Stiller.
Under the partnership, all the content will be offered sequentially on Tving.
Tving and Apple TV+ will also hold a special event. Starting Monday, Tving Standard and higher-tier subscribers will be able to watch all episodes of "Pachinko" Season 1 for two months. Detailed information can be found in the notifications section within the Tving app.
In 2022, Tving launched an app for Apple TV to enhance user convenience and create a better viewing experience for its users.
"We are thrilled to form a new partnership between the country's leading Korean streaming platform and a premium streaming service, blending both diversity and mainstream appeal," a spokesperson at Tving said.
"With Tving's unique and differentiated K-content, combined with Apple TV+'s excellent global offerings, we are confident this will create an unmatched platform experience, delivering the best satisfaction to our users."
Tving focuses on offering not just exclusive Korean content, but also a series of live sports broadcasts, such as baseball and basketball.
