Korea's SK Group on Sunday unveiled its vision for a future driven by artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and innovations, showcasing products and solutions designed to lead global tech trends at CES 2025.
SK Group's four affiliates, including semiconductor giant SK hynix and SK Telecom, will operate a joint exhibition booth under the theme "Innovative AI, Sustainable Tomorrow" at this year's CES, which runs from Tuesday to Friday in Las Vegas, according to the company.
SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won will visit the annual tech show, along with key executives, including SK hynix CEO Kwak Noh-jung and SK Telecom CEO Ryu Young-sang, to explore the latest AI technology trends and engage with global tech leaders to strengthen cooperation in building a robust AI ecosystem, it said.
Through the show, SK Group aims to bring its business vision to life: "Creating a sustainable future and contributing to human development through various AI innovations," a commitment emphasized at the SK AI Summit in November.
Under this vision, SK Group's pavilion is divided into three sections to introduce its key businesses: AI data center, AI service and AI ecosystem.
Its entrance is decorated with a massive kinetic LED display, named Innovation Gate, standing 14 meters high and 6 meters wide. The display offers a visual journey into the sustainable future envisioned by SK's AI technology.
At the heart of the booth is a 6-meter LED pillar showcasing four AI data center solutions: energy, AI, operations and security.
SK hynix's latest high bandwidth memory (HBM) chip, 16-layer HBM3E, will be the highlight of this section.
The AI service section introduces SK's advanced AI technologies, including GenAd, an AI-powered advertisement production solution.
SK Telecom's personal AI assistant, aster, will be demonstrated to a global audience at CES 2025 ahead of its North American debut later this year.
Partnering with innovators, such as Gauss Labs, Lambda, Anthropic, Perplexity and Penguin Solutions, SK Group will showcase collaborative AI solutions designed to drive the future of the AI industry at the AI ecosystem section.
"At CES 2025, we aim to demonstrate how AI can transform every aspect of daily life and showcase its limitless growth potential," SK Group said. "We also look forward to strengthening partnerships with our customers to drive future AI innovations." (Yonhap)
