With the Lunar New Year approaching, hotels across the country are rushing to promote gift sets and room packages for those seeking a special experience for their friends and family.

Oak Valley in Wonju

Oak Valley, a resort in Wonju, Gangwon Province, is offering a special gift set promotion for Lunar New Year.

Oak Valley Premium Oak Aged Soju is a new product introduced this year after a long collaboration with local distilleries. It boasts a smooth and rich aroma, the result of aging high-quality distilled liquor made from locally sourced rice.

Without any additives, this liquor causes less of a hangover compared to typical alcoholic beverages. Its smoothness makes it easy to drink, perfect for pairing not only with Korean cuisine but also a variety of other dishes.

The resort also offers a variety of gift sets ranging from 50,000 won ($34) to 500,000 won, including premium Korean beef sets, Oak Valley handmade seasoned LA ribs, premium handmade ham sets, dried yellowtail fish from Yeonggwang County, fruit and premium tea sets.

Online reservations and on-site purchases will open on Jan. 17, and a free delivery service will also be provided with a thank-you card.
