Jung Yong-hwa of K-pop rock band CNBLUE is undergoing knee surgery due to a meniscus tear, his agency announced.

CNBLUE shared a post on Monday titled "Notice regarding Jung Yong-hwa's knee surgery" on the fan communication platform Weverse. According to the statement, Jung recently experienced discomfort in his knee and sought medical attention. A detailed examination revealed a meniscus tear in his right knee.

"In line with the medical team's recommendations, he is scheduled to undergo meniscus repair surgery today," the agency said.
