A wave of women talents is set to light up the K-pop scene in February, as Chung Ha and BLACKPINK's Jisoo and Lisa gear up for a competitive chart battle with their latest releases. They will be joined by Australian singer-songwriter Olivia Marsh and rising rookie Gyubin, adding to a diverse musical lineup.

Solo singer Chung Ha's return is slated for Wednesday with the release of her new EP, "Alivio." Previously teasing two tracks from the album, she is set to lead promotions with the house-influenced anthem "STRESS" and the pop-rock song "Thanks for the Memories."

"Alivio" comes after two months since Chung Ha's Christmas special single "Christmas Promises" in December. It also marks her first EP in nearly five years, following "Flourishing," which dropped back in June 2019.

Jisoo of the K-pop quartet BLACKPINK will also drop new songs on Friday with her second mini-album, "AMORTAGE," a compilation of four tracks the singer personally participated in writing and composing.

She will also embark on a solo fan meeting tour across Asia following the Valentine's Day release. Kicking off in Seoul, the tour includes stops in seven cities: Manila, Bangkok, Tokyo, Macao, Taipei, Hong Kong and Hanoi.

Jisoo debuted under BLACKPINK in 2016, later establishing herself as a solo artist in 2023 with her single album "ME." Its title track, "FLOWER," not only topped local charts but peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Global 200, marking a globally successful solo transition.

Her acting career continues to thrive as well with her latest project, "Newtopia," a zombie romance comedy, released on Coupang Play and Prime Video on Friday.

Lisa, the Thai-born BLACKPINK member, will wrap up the month on a high note with the release of her full-length album "ALTER EGO" on Feb. 28. The new work features 12 tracks, including the October 2024 hit "Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)," as well as the previously released "Rockstar" and "New Woman" from summer last year.

To build anticipation for the upcoming album, the Thai star also released "Born Again" on Friday, a collaboration with American rapper Doja Cat and British singer-songwriter Raye.

In addition, Olivia Marsh, best known for composing songs for K-pop acts such as BoA and Kiss of Life, is once again stepping into the spotlight as an artist herself. The Australian singer, also known as NJZ (NewJeans) member Danielle's sister, will release her debut EP, "Meanwhile," on Thursday.

The five-track album includes double title songs "STRATEGY" and "BACKSEAT," along with "WATERWORKS," "42" and "PINA COLADA."

Rookie solo singer Gyubin, who made her debut last year, is also set to drop her first mini-album, "Flowering," on Feb. 26. The six-track release will include an English version of the title track.
