Korea's acting President Choi Sang-mok said on Monday that special attention should be paid to strengthening security when using artificial intelligence services including Chinese startup DeepSeek, according to the finance ministry.
Choi also discussed responses to U.S. President Donald Trump mentioning imposing tariffs on steel and aluminum, the U.S.-Japan summit last week, and responding to major trade issues in the digital sector in a government meeting on foreign and economic issues, the ministry said, without elaborating.
