The Embassy of Denmark in Seoul will present a Danish Pavilion at the 2025 Seoul Living Design Fair, set to take place from Wednesday to March 2 at COEX in Seoul.
The pavilion will highlight a mix of Danish brands already popular in Korea and others looking to enter the Korean market. The eight participating brands are high-end consumer electronics company Bang & Olufsen, art prints maker The Dybdahl, textiles maker Georg Jensen Damask, bedding maker Quilts of Denmark, lighting and furniture markers UMAGE and VERPAN and faucets maker VOLA.
The Embassy of Denmark has partnered with the Confederation of Danish Industry and Creative Denmark, a public-private initiative supporting the country's creative industries, to curate the exhibition.

The pavilion will embody Denmark's renowned design traditions, incorporating clean, uncluttered lines and organic materials such as wool, wood and cotton. A natural green color scheme will reflect the core values of Danish design: minimalism, functionality and sustainability.
In addition to the exhibition, Creative Denmark and participating Danish brands will contribute to the Global Creative Business Conference, scheduled for Thursday. The conference will feature two panel discussions: "Danish Design: A Legacy of Sustainability," exploring the longevity and environmental consciousness of Danish brands, and "Enhancing Well-Being: Danish Design as a Driver for Quality of Life," which will examine how Danish design enriches everyday life and aligns with Korean market trends.
"Korea is an important market for Denmark, as it is highly sensitive to changes in design trends and has a significant influence on other markets," an embassy representative said.
The Embassy of Denmark in Seoul aims to foster deeper ties between the two nations' design communities, encouraging greater creative collaboration and cultural exchange through the pavilion.
