Educational Testing Service (ETS) has launched TOEFL® TestReady™, an innovative test preparation platform that can change how learners get ready for the TOEFL iBT® test, the world's largest private educational testing and assessment organization said in a statement.

Using artificial intelligence (AI), TOEFL TestReady offers personalized insights and targeted recommendations for the essential English-language proficiency examination required for international study or work.

It integrates existing TOEFL iBT prep materials with an array of new features within a single, user-friendly portal. Free offerings include "scored activity of the day," presenting a fully scored question set, and "personalized prep plan" that tailors a study journey based on individual needs. The platform also features various resources like videos, courses, books, tips and progress tracking.

For those seeking a more indepth preparation method, TestReady provides paid features such as "section test," showing scores and insights upon completing a full test section (reading, listening, speaking or writing). "Section practice" offers detailed feedback and insights at the question and task type level, including example responses. Moreover, "focused practice" hones in on specific question and task types, offering targeted feedback.

One of the platform's key strength lies in its ability to consolidate a test-taker's performance metrics, providing targeted recommendations and insights. This personalized approach aids learners in addressing individual skills gaps, fostering efficient and effective preparation. Preliminary research suggests a positive correlation between performance in TestReady and achieving higher TOEFL iBT scores.
