Hana Bank opened a branch at Terminal 1 in Incheon International Airport after relocating its previous one, the lender said Monday.

Hana is the only local commercial lender to have opened a branch there in 2001 when the airport began operation.

Incheon International Airport Corp. (IIAC) President Lee Hag-jae, flight crews of Korean Air, Hana Financial Group Chairman Ham Young-joo, Hana Bank CEO Lee Seung-lyul and Hana Bank executives and employees attended the opening ceremony.

The branch is easily recognizable, due to its walls painted green, a color Hana Financial uses for corporate branding.

Unmanned kiosks and automated teller machines are available at the branch.

Apart from the newly opened branch, a branch at Terminal 2 has a transaction window dedicated to Korean Air employees.

The IIAC and Hana Bank, Asia's leading foreign exchange service provider, will continue partnership over the next decade, the IIAC president said during the event.

"We are happy to celebrate the 23rd anniversary of the opening of Incheon International Airport with Hana Bank. We will grow together," Lee said.

Hana Financial Group Chairman Ham Young-joo said the partnership will continue to provide the best customer service at the airport, an international transport hub of Asia.

"We are honored to continue on a journey with IIAC for decades, including the next 10 years," Ham said. "Hana Bank will spare no efforts to provide the best services to customers and airport employees."
