Boy band DAY6 has frequently said that it wants to sing about every moment in life, so that people can link every phase of their lives to its songs.

Sticking to its words, the quartet performed 27 tracks of various themes ranging from love to regret to recovery during its "Welcome to the Show" concerts at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in southeastern Seoul, which took place from Friday to Sunday. Some 34,000 fans attended the shows, relishing the return of spring with the tunes that the four DAY6 members — Young K, Sungjin, Wonpil and Dowoon — handpicked for their set list.

What caught people's eyes from the beginning was the circular stage at the center that slowly rotated as the members performed. This enabled the audience to enjoy DAY6's performances from all angles, creating an immersive experience.

"Today, we are here with this circular stage," bassist and vocalist Young K said during the concert, Sunday. "The sight before my eyes is so beautiful."

DAY6 opened the concert with "Welcome to the Show," the lead single off its eighth mini-album, "Fourever" that dropped in March. Clad in suits, the members then commanded the stage with five other tunes — "Better Better" (2017), "LOVE PARADE" (2021), "The Power of Love" (2024), "Days Gone By" (2018) and "Deep in Love" (2019) — before greeting the audience with beaming smiles.

Among them, "LOVE PARADE" is a track by DAY6's sub-unit DAY6 (Even of Day), which consists of Young K, Wonpil and Dowoon.

"'LOVE PARADE' was initially sung by our sub-unit, but we got this opportunity to perform it as a quartet today," Wonpil said. "It is about all the love that exists in this world."

The party mood reached its peak when DAY6 belted out "You Were Beautiful," one of the songs that belatedly climbed back to the top spots of multiple music streaming charts earlier this year while the members were on a compulsory military service. Knowing the popularity of this tune, DAY6 offered a special session for their followers to sing along to the song.

"'You Were Beautiful' came out in 2017, but it is still beloved my so many people," Young K said. "We also performed at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in 2019 but now, we are back with more seats. I think you have made all these possible."

DAY6 and its fans also sang together other tracks such as, "I like you" (2017) and "Congratulations" (2015) before heightening the mood with "Sweet Chaos" (2019) and "Sad Ending" (2024). "Sad Ending," in particular, made the audience go wild as the members boasted of their vocal brilliance despite its extremely high notes and fast pace.

The highlight of Sunday's extravaganza was DAY6's performances of four tunes:"For me" (2019), "Healer" (2021), "Wish" (2016) and "HAPPY" (2024). With the music delivering a message of hope, comfort and solace, the band presented a therapeutic moment for its followers while lifting their spirits. Wonpil also went emotional, shedding tears as he sang "Happy."

"I got so overwhelmed after seeing you singing along with us," the keyboardist said. "We wrote such songs hoping that we can bring comfort to you."

DAY6 wrapped up the concert after more than three hours, showing their appreciation to the spectators for their support.

"I was really happy today," drummer Dowoon said. "Our three-day concert is over now, but it just marks a beginning for DAY6. We are likely to perform a lot in the future, so we hope we can create other good memories next time."

Guitarist Sungjin added, "You always give us energy that goes beyond our expectations ... We can't always be happy in our lives, but if we continue to walk our path together like this, we might be able to feel happiness more often."
