The Jeongnamjin Jangheung Water Festival will take place from July 27 to Aug. 4 at the Tamjin River Riverside Park and the Cypress Forest Woodland in Jangheung, South Jeolla Province.

The festival will feature various water activities, including the Salsoo Daechup Parade, the world's largest water fight, underwater tug-of-war, and the Global Water World (Water Rock Pool Party).

The opening ceremony will showcase traditional performances from Korea and Thailand, a water-mixing performance, Global Water World performances and a fireworks show. Celebratory performances by Giriboy, tripleS, Han Yo-han, Kid Milli and Forestella are also scheduled.

A new addition to this year's festival is the "Global Water World," which combines water fights with electronic dance music performances. This immersive media art space will feature a water battle between the Goddess of Water and the Goddess of Fire, alongside an exciting EDM festival.

The festival highlight, the World's Largest Water Fight, will occur daily from 2 to 3 p.m., where staff members armed with water guns will engage in battles with festival participants.

Every day at 3 p.m., the Golden Fish Catch event will take place in the Tamjin River, and on July 31 and Aug. 1, the Song of the Angry Whale rock festival will be held.

Top Korean bands such as Guckkasten, Romantic Punch, YB (Yoon Do-hyun Band), and Crying Nut will deliver thrilling performances.
