K-pop act Stray Kids is gearing up for a collaboration with American singer Charlie Puth on a new single before releasing an album this summer.

JYP Entertainment, the agency representing the boy band, announced Wednesday that Stray Kids will release its new digital single, "Lose My Breath (Feat. Charlie Puth)," May 10. The agency emphasized that the upcoming track aims to "ignite anticipation ahead of their summer album release."

Puth catapulted to global fame with his hit, "See You Again," from the 2015 film "Furious 7." The singer also amassed a significant fanbase in Korea, notably through collaborations such as with BTS' Jungkook on "Left and Right," and his contribution to "LIKE THAT," featured on the debut album of the girl group BABYMONSTER.

"The collaboration between Stray Kids, renowned for its global presence, and international pop sensation Charlie Puth promises to deliver a song infused with unparalleled synergy, heightening excitement among fans," JYP said.

Stray Kids has enjoyed immense popularity in Korea as well as around the world, topping the Billboard 200 main album chart with four consecutive works from "ODDINARY," and "MAXIDENT" in 2022, to "5-STAR," and "ROCK-STAR" in 2023.

The group is set to headline major international music festivals this summer, including I-Days in Milan in July, BST Hyde Park in London in July, and Lollapalooza in Chicago in August.
